Sunday Formation Groups in April: 9:30 - 10 AM 

Coffee and Conversation in the Auditorium 

Gather with Fr Nathan and Deacon Matthew for casual conversations about important topics. All are welcome! 

  • April 16 Ramadan and the Feasts of Islam – what is Eid Al-Fitr? 
  • April 23: Our Resurrected Bodies -  what do we know about these?  
  • April 30: Sacred Ground Circles – what are they and how do they work? How can I learn more? How can I participate in our next circle? 

    Be Still in the Chapel 

    Each Sunday: silence, poetry, contemplative readings, group discussion. All are welcome to participate. 

    First Holy Communion Camp & Celebration 

    Saturday & Sunday 29-30 April: This is for all young people who want to learn more about Holy Communion and be part of a special First Holy Communion celebration. It is designed primarily for those in Grades 2-5. If you know of someone who wants to join, reach out to Fr Nathan (nathanferrell@smary.org) soon! 

    National Day of Prayer in Falmouth 

    Thursday 04 May at 6 PM at Falmouth Congregational Church. Mark your calendars now for an ecumenical time for all people of faith in Falmouth to gather and pray for our nation and our communities.  

Guiding RAY (Religious Adventures for Youth): 10 AM classes        

Our Guiding RAY programs for all young people ages 0 to 10.  During the program year (Sept – mid-June), we gather all together beginning at 9:30am for Formation in the lower level of the Parish House with classes beginning at 10am.  Meg Hurdman, former Guiding RAY director, will be leading the classes from January – June.  Pick up the calendar for January to June. Adults are needed to help lead classes. Please consider volunteering to guide our children in the way of Jesus!       

This week the lesson will be: John 20:19-31 (Doubting Thomas) and 

The Parable of the Sower and his Seeds (Mark 4:1-20) 

Garden seed starting under the grow lights.

Our April Outreach Partner: Maine Needs 

-Wednesday 19 April: Volunteer at Maine Needs during school vacation week to assist their work with needy Mainers. Go to maineneeds.org/volunteer to sign-up.  

-Donate previously-worn washed and sorted clothes (that you would be proud to wear) or purchase bulk socks and underwear 

-Put together a kit with your friends and family! The Maine Needs website offers different kits you can create and donate (https://www.maineneeds.org/kits).  

-Sunday 30 April: As part of our Last Sunday Offering, make a donation to support the important work of Maine Needs.

Ongoing Outreach projects 

St Elizabeth's Jubilee Center: every third Tuesday  

Housewares & Kitchenware (no clothing). Saint Mary's is committed to serving at this vital ministry to new Mainers and those in need on the morning of each third Tuesday from 8:30 to 11. FMI and to find out how you can participate, contact Stan Eaton at stan.eaton@gmail.com   

Souper Supper : Friday February 24, 5 – 7 PM  

Every month on the second and fourth Fridays. Delicious homemade soup, salad, bread, and a sweet treat is available to everyone in a relaxed family-style atmosphere - no questions asked. Try it! Or volunteer to help shop, set-up, serve or cook, contact Jennifer at jenniferanngregg@gmail.com  

Falmouth Food Pantry 

The Falmouth Food Pantry, who serves close to 200 families a month, is accepting food donations from individuals. Our donation box is in the foyer of the Parish House and in the Narthex. Helpful foods are soup in cans (but not cream soups), boxes of pasta, cold cereal, canned tuna fish, canned chicken, and granola bars.

Baby Jasmine, along with her parents, Belinda & Joao and siblings, Erica & Nicholas are doing well and getting adjusted to their new life as a family of five. 

Family Promise
