S. Mary's eNEWS for week beginning 7.5.15

Saint Mary’s Weekly News

July 5, 2015 – The Celebration of Independence Day

A well-deserved vacation

Father Nathan is away with Erin who was selected to participate in the Telluride Plein Air Festival in Colorado.  They departed on June 25 and Nathan will return to the office on Thursday, July 9.  During this time, Deacon Christine will handle all pastoral matters.

Thank you for keeping your pledges current!

For all you summer vacationers, please remember that if you find that you will be out of town for a few weeks (or the entire summer), it is important to maintain your weekly pledge.  The parish is still active in the summer and continues to incur operating expenses, so it is important that we maintain cash flow.  It may be helpful to set-up automated bank transfers in advance so that you do not have to remember while away. This can be done through our website (www.smary.org) or your bank. Thank you!

Christian Formation Notes

Young Life Club: is on summer break now as everyone prepares for camp!

Our Casco Bay region of Young Life (which includes Nathan+, Tom and Jane Stegemann, and Marge Devine on the leadership Committee) is preparing to send 35 young people to Young Life camp from July 11 – 17.  This is amazing!  Mark your calendars now to pray for these young people as they learn about, and experience, God’s unfailing love for them.

Upcoming Events & Gatherings

Be Still: offered again on Monday, July 6,  7 -8 PM

Saint Mary's offers multiple ways for all to seek, hear, experience God.  One such way is to stop...and give ourselves an opportunity to listen. Come for five minutes or come for an hour.
