January 29, 2017 – The Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany

Annual Meeting & Vision Talk: Sunday, January 29, at 9 AM

“Any person age fifteen years or older who has attended and supported the Church for six months and accepts its Constitution shall be considered a voting member of the Parish.”  From our Constitution and By-laws. Everyone is invited for this special event, even if you are not voting. Brunch will be supplied; to help out please consider bringing fruit or baked goodies;  childcare will be available, and the Holy Spirit will be guiding us! Come to learn about what is in store for us in 2017.  Annual Report booklets are available now in the Narthex and throughout the Parish House.

Celebrate Honor Serve in 2017

Please take time to prayerfully consider your 2017 pledge to Saint Mary’s. We’ve been blessed with many wonderful pledges, but we are still a ways from our goal of $285,000. We know that everyone is busy, but pledging allows us to meet our obligations and to plan our ministries. Thank you!

The Presentation (Candlemas):  Thursday, February 2 at 12noon

At our Chapel Eucharist, we will celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, also known as the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary and as Candlemas, AND as Groundhog Day! All are welcome to join us.

Serving the World

Save the Date: February 12 is our Winter Mission Morning

ALL are invited to gather on Sunday morning in the Sanctuary for our regular 8 AM liturgy, and/or gather in the Auditorium to begin our Mission Morning at 9 AM with plans to return to Saint Mary's at 11:30 for fellowship and lunch.

We once again offer opportunities and hands-on projects for all ages and capabilities to spread God’s goodness, love and joy in our community.

Join us for one of the following projects that will be shared in more detail in the coming weeks:  A project at Milestone Foundation;  Scarf Distribution in downtown Portland;  Helping FFP Neighbors in Need;  Visit and bring music at The Cedars Nursing Facility; an In-House Art Project creating pot-holders.

Most activities are great for all ages.

NURSERY CARE will be provided. SIGN-UP today in the Parish House!
