Saint Mary’s Weekly News
July 3, 2016 – The Celebration of Independence Day
Food for the Poor and Mother Carola
Thank you, Mother Carola, for leading us in the Eucharist today while Father Nathan is away. Thank you for sharing your love and service to God with us! More specifically, thank you for your work with Food for the Poor serving the Caribbean and Latin America meeting both physical and spiritual needs at all levels. For more information, visit the website at www.foodforthepoor.org.
Mass on the Grass: Wednesdays at 6:30PM from June 29 to August 3
Away on Sundays in the summer? Gather with us on Wednesdays for an informal, outdoors Eucharist that is participatory, brief and suitable for all ages.
Bring a POTLUCK DISH to share afterward, and we’ll have lawn games (boccé, croquet, frisbee, badminton) ready for all. In case of rain, we’ll move into the Parish House.
We’ll end each MOTG with smores cooked over a campfire! Does it get any better?
Thank you for keeping your pledges current!
For all you summer vacationers, please remember that if you will be out of town for a few weeks (or the entire summer), it is important to maintain your regular pledge to Saint Mary’s. The parish is still active in the summer and continues to incur operating expenses, so it is important that we maintain cash flow. The easiest thing to do is to set-up automated bank transfers in advance so that you do not have to remember while away. This can be done through our website (www.smary.org) or through your own bank. That will give you one less thing that you have to remember. Thank you!
