AT HOME with Guiding RAY
We have set up a Guiding RAY Facebook group as a place for parents to connect. Please 'like' https://www.facebook.com/ChurchofSaintMary/  and join the Guiding RAY Group. It is a great way to share resources, stories and a general check-in with each other.
For Palm Sunday, did you know that Hosanna actually means 'expression of adoration, praise, or joy'? This is what the people shouted as Jesus did his triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
I encourage all of you to go outside and find your own palm. It could be a branch, a pussy willow or click here to print a palm to color. On Palm Sunday, let's wave our palms together as you're gathering with your family watching worship live-streamed on Facebook.
Please visit our website, smary.org for more at home Palm Sunday resources.
  Love your Neighbor
Have kids make cards for people who are isolated at home or in assisted living facilities. Many of our parishioners are in this situation, and a card would help lift their spirits! Please contact Janet Bowne, jmitchellbowne@gmail.com,  for a list of names to send cards to.

Lent Madness: Who will win the Golden Halo?
. This is a fun, engaging way for people to learn about the men and women comprising the Church's Calendar of Saints. The format is straightforward: 32 saints are placed into a tournament-like single elimination bracket. Each pairing remains open for a set period of time and people vote for their favorite saint.  16 saints make it to the Round of the Saintly Sixteen, then to the Elate Eight, the Faithful Four and finally the Golden Halo is awarded on Holy Wednesday.  You can cast YOUR vote and follow the bracket at www.lentmadness.org .
