Lenten Quiet Morning: The Anointing Woman -  MARCH 5, 9-12:30

You might be taken aback to learn that not every Gospel tells a story of Jesus' birth. Surprisingly, not every Gospel gives an account of His resurrection. But every Gospel contains a report of the woman who breaks into a dinner party to anoint Jesus with expensive perfumed oil. She shows up in all four Gospels with an act of astonishing intimacy and generosity.

Saint Mary's invites you enjoy a Quiet Morning with her as we imagine her bravery, her persistence, and her love.  We'll meet via zoom

Living With Grief: Wednesdays Mar 9 - Apr 20

Beginning on Wednesday, March 9, a new "Living with Grief" group will begin led by Deacon Christine and Suzanne Williams-Lindgren from 5 - 6:30pm. We will meet in person at Saint Mary's and/or on Zoom once a week for 6 sessions (no class during Holy Week)  until April 20.  Anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one whether that death occurred 6 months ago or many years ago is welcome to be part of the group. If you are interested, please contact Deacon Christine at 653-2448 or Beth at the church office.

Guiding RAY (Religious Adventures for Youth)

All young people are invited to gather at 9:30 downstairs in the Parish House. Masks are required for all in Guiding RAY, except for those in the Nursery. Class time will begin at 10 AM, and children will be brought over for Communion with their families just before 11 AM.

Saint Mary's Adopted Angolan Family

In partnership with the Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition (MIRC), Saint Mary's has adopted the Vemba family of four from Angola, seeking asylum and a better, safer life. They had professional careers before coming here, and they are going through the correct steps to be able to work and contribute to their new country.  Their housing fell through, so they are still looking for an apartment. Their needs list has dwindled until they get an apartment, but grocery gift cards are always applicable. FMI: Anne LaFond akblafondgmail.com or the Parish Office,

Contacting the Reverend Jane Milliken Hague

CDC Guideline updated

Saint Mary's is requiring everyone to emulate the compassion of Christ by wearing a mask indoors at all group gatherings. And if you are not feeling well, please stay in the comfort of your home and watch us online.
