Serving The World
Welcome, New Mainers, Wednesday, May 3, 6:30-8pm
"To survive in an inner way that matters... means inhabiting our capacity to see and affirm the common pulse of life we find in others, no matter how different they may seem from us." (Mark Nepo, Author)
You are cordially invited to a coffee/dessert on May 3, 6:30-8pm in the auditorium to meet and learn from some of our newest Mainers, including native Burundian, Constant, who worked with the African Union and United Nations before emigrating to the US and who now seeks to become an interpreter here in Maine. You will enjoy short presentations from Constant and others, fellowship, and opportunities to become informed about how to become involved with this wonderful community. A sign-up sheet is available in the Parish House. FMI: Becky Pride, Anne LaFond, Jennifer Gregg
