Twelfth Night Potluck, Eucharist and Mission Program: THIS Sunday evening!!
At 5 PM, let’s join together to celebrate the twelfth night of Christmas and the Epiphany. Epiphany means to show, is a season of light, when Christ is shown to be the light of the world. During Epiphany, we follow the wise men and the disciples as they learn to follow Jesus and what it means for us to follow Jesus. What a perfect time for our missionaries to Haiti to share their experiences with us! Join the family in this wonderful meal of sharing!
Are You Missing Vintage (2013) Serving Dishes or Containers?

Sunday, January 26, 3:30 – 6 PM: “Contrasting Color should not Create Conflict”.
Using Matthew 7:1-5 and Peter 4:9 as a basis, we will watch the movie Forty-Two together and discover and discuss Jackie Robinson’s struggles. Questions? Call Jane Stegemann 797-8422 or Ruth 239-0482. All youth are welcome. Bring your friends!
Godly Play - Christian Formation for our younger Christians
We offer a Montessori-based program called Godly Play to learn about God, the Bible, and the Church with our children. Family Chapel begins at 9:15am followed by Guiding RAY classes (age 4 through 5th grade) begin downstairs in the Parish House at 9:30am. The nursery also opens at 9:15 for our infants and preschoolers.
“The Middlers” – new time starting next Sunday, January 12
9:30 to 10:35 AM on Sunday mornings! In order to make the group more accessible to even more of our young people, the Middlers (all those in Middle School) will use the same schedule as our Guiding RAY classes and join their families for Communion.

Meetings, Gatherings and Events
2014 Parish Budget Presentations
During both Coffee Hours (approximately 9:15 and 11:15 AM) on Sunday, January 12, members of the Budget & Finance Committee and the Stewardship Team will present the Parish Budget for 2014. These are open discussions and anyone with questions or concerns about parish finances are strongly encouraged to come and join either conversation. These are intended to replace a lengthy discussion of the Budget at the Annual Meeting while also ensuring a healthy dialogue about our parish finances. Please contact David Robinson, Chair of the Budget & Finance Committee, for more information (davidjr471@gmail.com).
Saint Mary’s Annual Parish Meeting: VISION 2014
The Annual Meeting of The Episcopal Church of Saint Mary will take place on Sunday, January 26th, 2014, following the one combined Eucharist with the Choir at 9:00 AM. After this, we will gather in the Auditorium for brunch and a report from parish leadership focused on two things: what God did in our midst in 2013, and where we believe that God is leading us in 2014. But do not fear! The Meeting will end around 12 Noon. Everyone is invited! There will be activities for our little ones downstairs in the Guiding RAY spaces during the Meeting.
