You may find them on the table in front of the kitchen. Check it out soon....we will keep them until January 15 and then donate any remaining to St. Elizabeth's! Thank you!
2014 Offering Envelopes: on the Table by the Guild Room
Our 2014 Stewardship Campaign kicks off on January 26, but offering envelopes for the entire year are available to those who have used them previously or those who have requested them. If you would like to have the parish provide you with offering envelopes, you may sign-up for these in the Parish House or in the Narthex of the church.
Time to Update the S. Mary's Member and Friends Directory!
This will be ready to distribute on January 26th. So we can be assured we have your most recent address, phone number and email address, drafts will be available to verify your information in the narthex of the church, at Coffee Hour for the next two Sundays and some Vestry members will be charged with getting the correct info from you also. Please help this task by checking for accuracy or by adding additional contact information on one of the copies. Also, you can use this directory for networking! See below.
A Networking Opportunity!
Are you looking for clients? An electrician? Golf or ski partners? Seeking to learn knitting or other fine skills? I bet there are other parishioners who are interested! Expand your professional and social networks by offering a few words about your vocation and/or avocations for publication in the 2014 S. Mary’s Members and Friends Directory! Email the information to Beth Shaw at admin@smary.org by January 20.

Serving The World
Our Haiti Mission Team Shares the Good News
Last Sunday evening, we were amazed and enlightened by the videos and slide show of Becky’s, Kelly’s and Bruce’s trip to Haiti in November. This morning, we are blessed to have our own Becky Pride in the pulpit to share the team’s hands-on experiences in light of the Gospel message. A number of years ago, Becky took a year’s sabbatical from teaching to attend Andover-Newton Theological, Harvard Divinity and Episcopal Divinity Schools. She earned her Masters plus 30 from the University of Virginia in History of Religion.
Meetings, Gatherings and Events
2014 Parish Budget Presentations
During both Coffee Hours (approximately 9:15 and 11:15 AM) this Sunday, January 12, members of the Budget & Finance Committee and the Stewardship Team will present the Parish Budget for 2014. These are open discussions and anyone with questions or concerns about parish finances are strongly encouraged to come and join either conversation. These are intended to replace a lengthy discussion of the Budget at the Annual Meeting while also ensuring a healthy dialogue about our parish finances. Please contact David Robinson, Chair of the Budget & Finance Committee, for more information (davidjr471@gmail.com).
Saint Mary’s Annual Parish Meeting: VISION 2014
The Annual Meeting of The Episcopal Church of Saint Mary will take place on Sunday, January 26th, 2014, following the one combined Eucharist with the Choir at 9:00 AM. After this, we will gather in the Auditorium for brunch and a discussion with parish leadership about where we believe that God is leading us forward in 2014 and beyond. Do not fear! The Meeting will end by 12 Noon. Everyone is invited! There will be activities for our little ones downstairs in the Guiding RAY spaces during the Meeting.
Brunch Help Needed for January 26
Hospitality will be serving brunch on Jan. 26th just prior to the annual meeting. We will need strong people to set up tables, and chairs; and kitchen assistance on the morning of the 26th; and most importantly clean-up after the event. We'll need donations of fruit, breakfast breads, and juice. Sign Up sheets are in the Guild Room. It would be great to see some new faces in the kitchen!! Thank you and contact Anne LaFond alafond@maine.rr.com or 781-8820 if you are available.
Speaking of help in the kitchen… January 17 at 1 pm

After so many events, souper suppers, and kitchen activity, it's time for a major cleaning of drawers, refrigerators, cupboards, the stove and oven, etc. Thanks for considering!
